Little Britain Spring Regatta 2005
The Little Britain Spring Regatta was held here in Guernsey this year. With over 30 boats from the UK and Channel Islands there was quite a lot of action out on the water. A few of us headed out on the Sunseeker to watch. Some of the best photographs of the week-end can be found in the galleries below. The day before the races began was set aside for the practice sessions. There was a decent wind, choppy seas and plenty of tide for the competitors to get used to the Guernsey waters.

The weather during the actual races was very nearly perfect. The sun was out, the seas had calmed down overnight and the temperature was on the way up. The drop in wind certainly provided some worry for the skippers but luckily it held up enough to get in some good racing.
