Liberation day is the cause for a huge celebration in the Channel Islands. This year, instead of the traditional fairground, a well equipped arena has been setup for a variety of Extreme sports including mountain bikes, skateboards and motocross.

One of the more interesting events we have been to was this... the Guernsey Velo Clubs first Night mountain bike race. It was a dark moonless night that created a number challenges and caused us to walk through a lot of puddles that we could not see! We tried to capture as much of the action as possible and have some fun at the same time.

Each year, members of the Guernsey Yacht Club get together for a celebration of the past year of sailing and a look forward to the year ahead. As you might expect, the party involves beer, wine and plenty of good ol' rum!

The Little Britain Spring Regatta was held here in Guernsey this year. With over 30 boats from the UK and Channel Islands there was quite a lot of action out on the water. A few of us headed out on the Sunseeker to watch. Some of the best photographs of the week-end can be found in the galleries below. If you were sailing in the Little Britain Regatta, you should check out the pictures as there are some great shots!!
