Story posted: November 13, 2009 We are putting the finishing touches to our prep for our trip to take photographs of the Grey Seals at Donna Nook in Lincolnshire. We will have three days there so we hope the weather is not too unkind to us. It is pupping season so if all goes well we will get some great images. Pop back in about a weeks time to have a look. A highlight was the SAA Cargo planes with the silver falcons. The new SAAB Gripen is loud, although the only photos I got were from outside the airbase on arrival. Enjoy. Saturday saw the 1st and 2nd division league winners from both Islands battle it out for the Upton trophies. The Muratti was played on Sunday by the Island's A and B teams. Guernsey was the clear winner in each of the four games! He played lead guitar and sang for a live set with the 'Splinter Group' band. It was a great setting for the party and the atmosphere was electric... just like his new guitar! Happy Birthday!
